Our Wave is an online platform for survivors to share stories, receive customized support, and join a community of understanding. We seek to decrease the prevalence of assault and create a world where survivors are believed and supported.

Specifics of the Program

Survivor Stories:

While collecting stories and tagged data, we hope to highlight the prevalence of sexual assault and determine patterns for future prevention. Our Wave was created as a place of support and self-healing for loved ones who were impacted by a traumatic event. We wanted to bring together a community where this support and healing could be possible. Along the way, we saw how challenging it can be to share a story at all, much less publicly share something so deeply painful and personal.

Survivor Q&A:

We have compiled answers to questions we have received from our survivor community. We hope these answers can help survivors, advocates, and the general public learn more about trauma and survivor healing. If you’re new to Our Wave, this is a great place to start.
